Sanctum wines are the result of our raw method of grapevine cultivation, meticulous care, our respect for the power of nature and marl ground.
Unique. Balanced. Elegant.
As our vineyards are not burdened by any chemical agents, artificial fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides, we produce less, but healthier grapes. Our wines arise from spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts. We strive not for quantity but for quality. We produce only 30 000 wine bottles annually. The prevailing varieties are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to which Syrah has been added. The latter thrives at our location due to the cool climate.
CHARDONNAY
Golden in the glass. Pure varietal aromas of apples and apricots balanced with a hint of creaminess, vibrant acidity and harmonious oak.
PINOT NOIR
Wine is of gentle ruby colour. Very elegant, with a hint of cherry fruit. Smooth tannins, firm acidity, well integrated oak. Cherry and plum fruit on the palate, supported by a subtle hint of rich coffee. After taste is long and decisive.
CHARDONNAY PRESTIGE KRAEMER SINGLE VINEYARD
The wine is pale gold. The aroma is reserved but elegant and complex. The classic Chardonnay aroma of white pear and apple is balanced by well-integrated note of oak wood. Complex mouthfeel with lively acidity and balanced finish.
PINOT NOIR PRESTIGE
The colour of wine is ruby. The wine has explosive fruit of the Pinot Noir grape, powerful structure and is elegantly balanced. It is fresh and is fully expressive with mature notes of red fruits.
MY RED
The colour of wine is violet ruby. My red is on the nose harmonious blend of pepper and spices from Syrah with vibrant black fruits from Pinot Noir. Full bodied and elegant, with balanced soft tannins, a true expression of our terroir.
CARTHUSIAN RED
This wine touches your heart with spicy notes of black pepper and cloves, followed by aromas of berries.
VOLK PINOT NOIR PET NAT ROSÉ
The wine is a yeasty sparkling rose with some cloudy sediment and lively bubbles. Juicy and bright, with aromas of cranberry and raspberry, this pet nat is a refreshing treat.
LEPTIR
This youthful dry skin contact white wine opens with spicy aromas of dry wildflowers, apricots, pears and white tea with honey. The palate is bright, and the skin tannins are not aggressive. Earthy mid-palate leads to a long savory finish.
RED BARREL
This wine is distinctly spicy and savoury, with aromas of cracked black pepper, black currant and violet. There is weight to the palate, where dried herbs and black fruits are sliced by a zesty acidity.
MYSTERY – sold out
This wine redefines Vermouth for a new generation who seek purity and authenticity. Elegant and balanced, it is perfect by itself or as a mixer in classic cocktails.
